Quentin Yarie, P.Geo.

Mr. Yarie is an experienced geophysicist with extensive project management and business development experience. He has led Red Pine as the Chief Executive Officer and President since 2015, President and COO from 2013-2015 and was the VP of Exploration between 2009 and 2013. He has previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer of MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd. and Honey Badger Exploration Inc. He served as the Senior VP of Exploration for NextSource Materials Inc. and served on the Board of Directors of NextSource from 2008-2019 when he resigned to focus his efforts on Red Pine’s Wawa Gold Project. He was previously the Business Development Officer at Geotech Ltd, a geo-physical airborne survey company.
JIM O'NEILL, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary
Mr. O’Neill has over 30 years’ experience as a finance executive with multi-national businesses operating in Canada, the USA, the UK, Turkey, and Kenya. His extensive public company financial management and governance experience spans junior mining exploration, development, and operations, including appointments as CFO and Corporate Secretary of Aldridge Minerals Inc. and Virtus Mining Ltd. He currently also serves as CFO and Corporate Secretary of Western Gold Exploration Ltd., and New Break Resources Inc. and as CFO of Waseco Resources Inc. Mr. O’Neill holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University and earned his CPA, CA with Ernst & Whinney (now KPMG).
JEAN-FRANÇOIS MONTREUIL, P.Geo, Ph.D.
Dr. Montreuil holds over a decade of experience in exploring complex hydrothermal systems for battery, precious, base and radioactive metals and has contributed greatly to the advancement of Red Pine’s Wawa Gold project and the discovery of the Minto Mine South Deposit. Previously, Dr. Montreuil acted as Chief Geologist of MacDonald Mine Exploration and formerly Honey Badger Exploration. With a Master degree in Earth Sciences at Laval University and Ph.D in Earth Sciences at INRS-ETE, out of Quebec City, his on-going contribution to scientific research in collaboration with the Geological Survey of Canada, the Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières (France geological survey), Geological Survey of South Australia, BHP-Olympic Dam, the University of Windsor and Laurentian University will continue to add value to the Canadian mining industry. Dr. Montreuil has also contributed to the industry through numerous Publications across International peer-reviewed journals in Economic Geology.
Director Corporate Communication
Ms Howes has over 20 years’ experience in institutional sales, finance, and Investor Relations. Her public company and capital markets focus includes emphasis on exposure to investors in the junior mining market. Previously an Institutional Broker with Union Securities International, London, UK and later with Moore Clayton & Co. as Managing Director of Investment and European Investor Relations, arranging market awareness and financing in Canada, UK, Europe, Middle East & Asia. Ms Howes established Rayleigh Capital Ltd to offer a wide range of financial services including North American and European marketing and capital-raising assistance with roadshows reaching a vast institutional and retail audience. Ms Howes previously served on the Board of Directors for Takara Resources (TKK; TSX) and as a Director of Investor Relations Germany for Proactive Investors. FSA licensed, with Union Securities London, MCC Global and Spencer Clarke and formerly worked with the Securities Institute as a SFA Exam Writer and Editor. Ms Howes holds B.A.(HON) in Psychology and Business from the University of Western Ontario.
Mr. Paul Martin is an executive with more than 30 years experience in precious metals exploration and mining in Canada and abroad. CFO at Detour Gold Corp. from 2008-2013; President & CEO at Detour from 2013 until his retirement in 2018.

Mr. Yarie is an experienced geophysicist and a successful entrepreneur with extensive project management and business development experience. He was previously the Business Development Officer at Geotech Ltd, a geo-physical airborne survey company, and a Senior Representative of Sales and Business Development for Aeroquest Limited. From 1992 to 2001, Mr. Yarie was a partner of a specialized environmental and engineering consulting group where he managed a number of large projects including the ESA of the Sydney Tar Ponds, the closure of the Canadian Forces Bases in Germany and the Maritime and Northeast Pipeline Project.
Drew Anwyll, M.Eng., P.Eng.
Mr. Anwyll is a mining engineer with over 25 years of international experience in operations start-up, construction and project management of both open pit and underground mines. He was most recently the Senior Vice President – Technical Services at Detour Gold Corporation, where he led the strategic work associated with long term planning, exploration, technical and operational oversight of the Detour Lake mine. Prior to this role, he was VP Operations and Mine General Manager at Detour during the construction and initial start-up of the mine. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree of Engineering from McGill University.
Andrew Baumen, P.Eng.
Mr. Baumen is a mining engineer with over 30 years in the mining industry. He is an innovative leader with recognized achievements in operational open pit and underground mine management and strategic business planning. Mr. Baumen was formerly VP of Technical Excellence at Barrick Gold Corp., and General Manager at Barrick’s Hemlo Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BaSc.) in Mining Engineering from Queens University.
Ms. Goldman has 20 years of experience in institutional sales, mining company financings and corporate transactions during her career while at several Canadian brokerage firms where she developed an extensive list of investor and mining company relationships. In February 2020, she was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer and Director of Paramount Gold Nevada Corp (NYSE American: PZG). Ms Goldman is a Certified Board Candidate (CDI.D) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Finance, from Concordia University. She is fluent in French and English.
Mr. Engelstad is the Vice President and General Counsel of Alamos Gold Inc. Prior to joining Alamos, Mr. Engelstad served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to McEwen Mining Inc. He also acted as the General Counsel to the group known as the McEwen Capital Group of Companies. Prior to joining McEwen Mining, Mr. Engelstad practiced with leading Canadian law firm, Stikeman Elliott LLP. He holds a BA from the University of Toronto, an LL.B from the University of Windsor, a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto (Global Professional LLM), and an MA in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London. Mr. Engelstad is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
James Franklin, Ph.D., FRSC, P.Geo
Dr. James (Jim) Franklin, is a renowned and award winning exploration geologist with over 40 years of extensive geological knowledge and expertise focusing on discovering base metal, uranium, and gold-bearing ore deposits. His career in the mineral industry has involved teaching at the university level, and directing research programs for the Geological Survey of Canada as Director of the Survey and as its Chief Geoscientist from 1993 to 1998. Dr. Franklin was past President of both the Geological Association of Canada and the Society of Economic Geologists. He was a Co-editor of Exploration and Mining Geology for CIM and was also Associate Editor of Economic Geology (trade journal) for seven years. He serves as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and is an Adjunct Professor at Queen’s, Laurentian and Ottawa university. Dr. Franklin is an expert on gold and VMS deposits in the Churchill and Superior Provinces of the Canadian Shield.
Mr. Mackenzie Watson, B.Sc., P.Geo., P.Eng
Mr. Mackenzie (Mac) Watson, has over 50 years experience in the exploration, development, and mining industry, and has been involved in the discovery of numerous mineral deposits in Canada. He is currently Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quest Rare Minerals. Mr. Watson spent his career in the junior mining sector, as CEO of Lynx Canada Exploration from l969 to 1985, and CEO of Freewest Resources from 1985 until 20l0 when it was taken over by Cliffs Natural Resources. Mr. Watson was awarded Canada’s Prospector of the Year Award in 1991 for his contribution to the discovery of the Harker Holloway gold mine (Ontario), the Icon-Sullivan copper mine (Quebec), the Long Lake zinc mine (Ontario), the Ellison gold deposit (Quebec) and the Hebecourt copper deposit (Quebec); and again in 2010 for his contributions to the mineral discoveries in the Ring of Fire area of Northern Ontario. He was also awarded the Quebec Prospector of the Year Award in 1992 for his participation in the discovery of the Pusticamica and Verneuil gold deposits in Quebec. In January 2015, Mr. Watson was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame.
