2010 Drilling Advances Exploration Model of SaraCourt

The initial 2010 drilling phase consisted of 8 drill holes totaling 1,692 metres (m) and was designed to confirm the presence of ore grade gold within the Michelle Zone – a shear zone greater than 300m in length.

Assay Highlights:

  • RPX10-02 - 4.05 grams/tonne (g/t) over 35m, including 7.76 g/t over 15.42m
  • RPX10-08 - 2.65 g/t over 40m
  • RPX10-01 - 2.31 g/t over 6m
  • RPX10-07 - 3.26 g/t over 4m
  • RPX10-06 - 2.84 g/t over 4.4m
  • RPX10-03 - 1.12 g/t over 12m

The results found combined with trenching and sampling results suggest that the Michelle Zone is a part of a large, multi-zoned, ore-quality gold system evolving on the SaraCourt Property.

Examination of the drill core indicates a strong lithologic-structural-alteration control to the mineralization typical of shear-vein systems similar to significant gold deposits seen in the Timmins-Porcupine Gold Camp.

The second phase of the 2010 exploration program comprised a total of ten holes (RPX-10-09 through RPX-10-18) and was designed to ...
  • Extend the gold mineralized intervals identified during the Company's phase one drilling on the Michelle Zone.
  • Confirm the presence of gold at the expansive Krista shear zone.
  • Understand the geologic controls of the gold bearing formations and develop a relationship between the IP results and the gold bearing sequences.

Assay Highlights:

  • RPX-10-16 - 2.03 g/t over 12.36 m and 4.6 g/t over 3.4 m
  • RPX-10-18 - 2.76 g/t over 0.2 m
  • RPX-10-14 - 0.7 g/t over 6 m
  • RPX-10-15 - 1.98 g/t over 0.18 m
  • RPX-10-09 - 1.58 g/t over 6.88 m
  • RPX-10-10 - 1.27 g/t over 9 m
  • RPX-10-10 - 1.52 g/t over 4.74 m
  • RPX-10-11 - 1.53 g/t over 1 m

The Company believes the objectives were successfully achieved through:

  • Expansion of the Michelle and Krista Zones, with intercept highlights of:
    • 12.36 m of 2.03 g/t gold including 3.40 m of 4.60 g/t (Michelle Zone)
    • 6.88 m of 1.58 g/t gold (Krista Zone)
  • Identification of the association of gold mineralization with quartz porphyry bodies and well developed shear systems (geologic model).
  • Confirmation that the DZ3 is a structurally significant geological event and is associated with anomalous gold values over a broad area.
  • Identification through grab samples of numerous anomalous gold values across SaraCourt

The 2011 DDH program consisted of 2,067.5 meters of drilling over 9 diamond drill holes. Highlights of mineralized intercepts are provided in the table below:

The gold intersection in RPX11-07 confirms the eastward extension of the Michelle zone by approximately 100m.

The mineralization intersected in diamond drill holes confirms the association of gold with sulphidic horizons within the Property. The Company is currently following-up the drill program with a regional till sampling program.
